Purpose of the Job
Combine business acumen, technology, and innovation to organize data, develop business insights and create an excellent data-driven and efficient Finance
organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and develop thoughtful and innovative dashboards in business intelligence solutions and drive self-serve BI culture across the company
through training end users - Support on process automation and improvements that significantly impact efficiency and quality of internal reports
- Identify and implement new analytics and reporting applications to support changing industry needs and expectations
- Leverage and improve existing reporting infrastructure to deliver timely, flawless business performance reporting to the chemicals business
organization to enable data driven decision making - Interact with various functions such as Marketing & Sales or local Finance to review and refine business processes in order to increase the bottom line
Formal Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
Working Experience
- 2+ years relevant industry experience
Required personal and professional skills
- Experience with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI), Familiarity with a programming language (R or Python)
- Business acumen + sound understanding of reporting and planning aspects
- High degree of proactivity and ownership; problem solving & analytical skills
- Communication, coordination & prioritization skills
- Excellent English language skills
