Purpose of Job
- The Delivery lead is responsible for the definition, creation, thought leadership and provisioning of Finance application solution designs to drive business value.
- The role focuses on formulating the products and delivery vision together with the Process Lead(s), to align and understand the needs of the stakeholders and enable solution evaluation, recommendation and design that will best work for International Chemicals.
- Accountable for the day-to-day operations and service delivery of Service Providers, to enable a stable Sasol IT environment. Acts as contact with the business in addressing escalated/serious operational delivery issues.
Key Accountabilities
• Drive business/functional process optimization by analyzing, creating, modifying SAP FICO and integrated applications owned by Global Solutions to meet business needs. • Manage IM service quality for Finance, including financial support, integral to daily operations and all financial closings in coordination and strong collaboration with all Delivery leads within International Chemicals. • Lead with a high-quality service delivery of our service providers and licenses compliance in collaboration with Platform mangers. • Accountable for costs, quality, and value in the area of responsibility. • Drive harmonization of systems and alignment of processes across sites working together with Business Process Leads to achieve S/4 Hana transformation program objectives. • Project in Finance and backlog management, including resource capacity and prioritization. • Leads unit and integration testing of configuration changes in coordination with Key Users. • Ability to coordinate with other IM teams for all contracted services making sure the business requirements are delivered within budget and agreed upon timeframe. • Define and manage governance procedures towards technology change within the area of responsibility. • Ability to follow IT process methodologies and procedures in change management, work intake, project management, documentation. • Review key performance indicators and ensure that service specific improvement plans are in place where required and monitor corrective actions, where deemed necessary. • Lead a multicultural highly qualified team, geographically allocated in different countries within International Chemicals BU. • Recruit, retain and mentor the right resources for the team. Stimulates team and supports individual development, assigns the most knowledgeable resources to projects. • Sets performance objectives, reviews performance, and recommends suitable ratings/ rewards for the team.

Working Experience
- 12+ years relevant experience
- 4+ years at leadership level
- 3 full cycle implementations
Required Personal/Professional Skills
- Strong business process knowledge in Finance and good understanding of IT technologies.
- Design and implementation and hands on configuration experience in SAP FI, CO and PS solutions including all sub modules. Expert on localizations and country specifics in the area of Finance.
- Very good understanding and competence about SAP Platforms (S/4 and MDG but also BTP, Charm), Coupa invoice, OneSource. Integration experience with other SAP modules and third party (e.g. Multi-bank) is a must. Must be able to identify impacts of implementing logistical solutions (MM, SD, PP, PM) on financial accounting, costing and profitability analysis in SAP.

- Strategic thinking, innovative capacity, initiative, leadership and people management, including resilience and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, business fluent English
