Purpose of Job
- Manage all outbound shipments from explant facilities from delivery scheduling, loading, product availability to shipping and delivery delays.
- Proactively identify and resolve problems with orders, paperwork and transportation related issues and work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely communication to customers.
- Manage freight accrual reconciliations comparing estimated rates with actuals and working with various partners to update in SAP.
- Perform accurate and timely post goods issues.
Key Accountabilities
• Manage outbound shipments from explant facilities from delivery scheduling, loading, product availability to shipping and delivery delays • Direct point of contact for explant facilities and carriers for loading and delivery delays • Reconcile estimated versus actual freight accruals and work with IM and 3PL to update • Post goods issue BOL’s from explant facilities • Maintain freight accruals for PP&C orders • Invoice resolution for all marine shipments and bulk carriers from explant s • Coordinate with Rail Logistics to ensure empty railcar availability for orders loading from explants • Collaborate professionally with plants, explants, carriers, IPL and customer service • Support month-end closing process • Provide after hours and weekend coverage as required • Provide backup coverage for team • Cross train with Marine Outbound team • Work in compliance with the Quality Management System requirements • Manage CNR completion for carrier related issues (explant origins)
Formal Education/Working Experience
- High School / School Diploma or similar with 5+ years of customer service and transportation experience
- University Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of customer service and transportation experience
Required Personal/Professional Skills
- Professional communication, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, good organizational skills, critical reasoning
- Ability to collaborate professionally with a variety of disciplines (i.e. Explant Facilities, Carriers, Manufacturing, Sales, R&D, P&O, CS
- Strong software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…)
