Purpose of Job

Manage the critical points of integration between Supply Chain and the Business and be the single point of entry for the inbound supply chain. Build  relationships to develop understanding of the end-user’s business that influence demand. Coordinate the processes and mechanisms which enables material and services demand to be met, in line within procurement policies, procedures, standards and guidelines

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the escalation resolution for services and goods procurement.
  • Interface with supply chain team on roll out of contracts. Set up sessions between end users and contract specialist to roll out  contracts.
  • Handle customer queries invoices, proof of delivery, certificate of conformity and packing lists
  • Handle queries on Purchase orders. Find resolution with the buyers
  • First point of contact  between the Supply Chain organization and the operational and/or tactical planning horizon
  • Ensure demand planning and Supply Chain execution Plan are aligned to ensure satisfactory service delivery.
  • Manage and train end-users with regards to PtP process.
  • Continuously enforce procurement policies and practices within GSO to promote standardisation. Align efforts with group as well as GSO cost saving priorities
  • Oversee the execution of expediting and procurement administration activities.
  • Work collaboratively with our Supply Team to expedite/reschedule orders based on changes in demand
  • Deal with supplier non-conformance process with end user
  • Responsible for overall data maintenance for systems associated with Demand Planning within their respective business unit
  • Facilitate reviews to understand requirements and help prioritize requests
  • Manage demand reports. Advanced excel knowledge is a plus

Formal Education

University Bachelors Degree

Working Experience

Experience: 6+ relevant years
