Purpose of Job
Support in the delivery, commissioning and start-up of production, providing effective support to ensure equipment maintenance, operability and reliability while adhering to procedures/codes, using all available support resources to ensure plant stability and sustainability.
Key Accountabilities
• Involved in preventive maintenance of the company's electrical systems;
• Fault repair and commissioning of the company's electrical equipment;
• Conduct technical investigations, failure analysis and factory inspections;
• Understand and use the factory maintenance documentation system;
• Understand the planning work management system;
• Relevant knowledge regarding specific / basic factory processes (defined by modality);
• Be able to apply emergency procedures;
• Be able to identify hazards and perform risk assessment;
• Follow Hegiene And Safety At Work procedures;
• Provide adequate information to the supervisor about the progress of the work;
• Participate in root cause analysis of failures (RCA) and contribute to their correction;
• Ensuring that the correct historical information is captured to improve renovations / upgrades and that ritical spare parts are replaced.
• Compliance of Safety Management Systems e.g. IMS, MBO, etc.
• SHE, Housekeeping, PPE, Risk Assessment, SMB observations, Emergency Procedure;
• Participates in daily morning meetings to discuss work assignments
• Support the goals and vision of the business by meeting deadlines
• Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal procedures
• Work effectively in a team
• Attends and interacts in PDAs and RCAs to improve plant safety and stability
• Play an appropriate supporting role during emergency situations to get the plant back on line
• Gives input at “toolbox talks” to improve plant safety
• Spot continuous improvement opportunities in own work area
