Purpose of Job
- Applying Asset Management principles to enable the safe and cost-effective utilisation of our assets throughout their life cycle (maintenance wise – support safe delivery of equipment functionality and reliability; production wise – support proper utilisation of the equipment). Promote the utilisation of effective and efficient reliability practices by Maintenance and Operations, promote the asset management process model.
- Collects information & data and ensure reliability measurement tools and systems are operational.
- Challenges the collected reliability information and data for the assets, in view of its validation for usefulness in effective analysis.
- Supports stakeholders in the use of best practices in the Work Management Process.
Key Accountabilities
- Establish, measure and optimize reliability metrics in order to operate sustainably.
- Ensure that processes are effective and efficient by adding value and relating to the asset management model.
- Ensure that processes are understood by all role players.
- Take part in continuous improvement processes, monitor and report them.
- Take part in the development and review of Equipment Maintenance Strategies and PM Task Lists.
- Monitor and report deviations in plant agreed operational parameters (OWAP).
- Take part in equipment condition monitoring.
- Understand equipment risks that affect operations.
- Initiate Reliability Reporting.
- Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Investigations & Action follow up.
Formal Education
High Technical National Diploma or similar in Engineering: Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics. (Ensino Técnico Medio ou equivalente em engenharia: Mecânica / Elétrica / Eletrónica)
Working Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering. (Mínimo de 3 anos de experiencia relevante em áreas de engenharia)
