Purpose of Job
This position is responsible to provide technical support to the Site Services team in order to enable them to deliver on their mandate which is to contribute and add value to Sasol Mozambique’s Asset Integrity and People Morale. This mandate is delivered on through a defined service catalogue, and a management system which primarily consists of delivery through third party service providers. There is a high level of dependency on service providers and the management of these entities in delivering on this mandate.
The footprint includes the production and non-production areas at the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and Integrated Process Facility (IPF) in Temane, the gas wells in Temane, Pande, and Inhassoro, the gravel road network and access to the various gas well areas.
At the CPF and IPF, the scope includes vegetation control, perimeter fence maintenance, fire breaks, building maintenance, landscaping, catering, housekeeping of offices and accommodation areas and office allocation.
The purpose of this position and role is to enable the team through technical support in ensuring that services are delivered effectively and cost-efficiently in accordance with legal and safety standards and within contractual terms and conditions. The Site services Assistant will be responsible for day to day maintenance of the site under the direction of the Site Manager, this will include participating in work schedules to enable the site cover to be 7 day/52 week per year. Service centricity and end user experience are integral to this purpose.
Key Accountabilities
Administrative
- SAP Transactional Support, Documentation Archiving and Control and Planning and Coordination Support;
- Travel Arrangements, Issue and Complaints Resolution Support;
- NRC Property Management Support, Lease Agreement Administration and End User Education.
Service Provider Management (SPM)
- Contract Application Support, Extract Maximum Benefit from Contractual Terms and Conditions;
- Support with Safety, Quality, and Cost Control, as well as Assurance Verification.
Financial
Support with Preparation of Annual OPEX/CAPEX Budgets and Invoice Verification Support.
Organisational
Interface Management with End Users, Residents, Stakeholders, and Service Providers, Enable Operational and Business Rhythm.
Management Systems, Compliance, and Governance
- Support with Application of SHE Procedures and Standards;
- Support in Compliance with Integrated SHE Management System Requirements.
