Purpose of Job

This position is accountable to deliver on the Site Services mandate which is to contribute and add value to Sasol Mozambique’s Asset Integrity and People Morale. This mandate is delivered on through a defined service catalogue, and a management system which primarily consists of delivery through third party service providers. There is a high level of dependency on service providers and the management of these entities in delivering on this mandate.

This position is for a dedicated and proactive Site Service Coordinator to manage and oversee maintenance activities at our residential complex. This role involves coordinating with service providers to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing the living experience for our residents.

The Site service coordinator will assist the site service Supervisor to manage the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of Utilities, facilities or properties at Nhamacunda Residential Complex in Vilanculos. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Being a Site service coordinator monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Additionally, this position trains Service Providers supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. The complex includes residential units, a maintenance and administration building, and recreational facilities with a gymnasium, clubhouse, and swimming pool. A clinic, crèche, primary-, and secondary school are also be located on the premises.

The purpose of this position and role is to ensure, with the service providers, that services are delivered effectively and cost-efficiently in accordance with legal and safety standards and within contractual terms and conditions. Service centricity and end user experience are integral to this purpose

Water Treatment – Domestic, Fire, Sewage, and Irrigation

Lease Administration and Support to Clinic, Schools, and Recreation Centre

Snag control, notifications and work orders

Service Provider Management

SPM Management:

Assist Site Service Supervisor developing Scopes of Work (SOW’s) in Collaboration with Supply Chain

Manage Contract Performance and Performance Reviews with Service Providers

Extract Maximum Benefit from Contractual Terms and Conditions during scope execution

Safety, Quality, and Cost Control, as well as Assurance Verification

Management Systems, Compliance, and Governance

Enforce Application of SHE Procedures and Standards, Comply with Integrated SHE Management System Requirements

Promote safe environment for residents and staff

People Management

Resident Communication:

Networking and Relationships Internally and Externally in order to Achieve Mutual Objectives

Minimum requirements

· Typically requires a diploma as pre-requisite.

· professional commercial property management, facilities management, construction, or project management certification) will be a significant advantage.

· Minimum of 3 years of coordination experience and proven knowledge of site services, facilities, maintenance, or project management is a prerequisite.

· A combination of experience in the above will be a significant advantage.

· Previous experience in facilities management, property management or a related role preferred.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and maintenance management software SAP.

· Ability to work independentily and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety regulations is an advantage

· Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

· Possess at least a basic understanding of computers and technology.

· Experience in opportunity development and business improvement will be an advantage.

· Mozambican citizenship.
