Purpose of Job
The Specialist Social Investment - LDAs Delivery will be responsible for project management of all the Local Development Agreements projects within the CSI Team in collaboration with Communities, Government responsible departments and Programme’s implementing Partners.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute LDAs small-scale and standalone community development projects
- Coordinate the implementation the LDAs Strategic Programs liaising with implementation partners
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budge and SHE standards.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Supervise and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the communities and all projects stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Experience working in a multicultural environment, across several geographies
- Digital savviness, fast learning abilities, working under tight deadlines and capacity to undertake several responsibilities at the same time
Formal Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture or related area, with professional registration and accreditation from Ordem dos Engenheiros de Moçambique.
Working Experience
Minimum 6+ years relevant experience in social development and sustainability, with strong skills in civil engineering/construction.
