Purpose of Job
Conduct all day to day Well Services and Well Integrity activities as necessary and as requested by the Manager Well Services and Integrity.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and supervise the Well Services Artisan crew, support recruiting of new members, make sure they work safe and have safe working environments (vehicles, tools, equipment, PPE, etc.)
- Provide planning and management support to all Well Interventions like slickline, annulus top-up, well testing, electric line, rig-less plug and abandonments etc. activities.
- Assurance of the safety and the continued integrity of all wells at any time within its production, suspension and abandonment life cycle.
- Coordinate and plan the bi-annual Function Testing of well architecture.
- Coordinate and plan the annual Well Integrity Testing of well architecture.
- Actively support the trouble shooting of malfunctioning well equipment in particular TR-SCSSVs, SSVs, chokes, gate valves and well instrumentation.
- Understand and strictly comply to the GSO Barrier Philosophy.
- Operate all Wellhead and Production Tree equipment.
- Act as focal point and company representative for third party service providers.
- Managing the MOEMS team and support the repairing, redressing and recertifying of used gate and choke valves as well as keeping the stock up to date.
- Actively support Emergency Response Exercises.
- Manage actions to well alarms.
- Regularly conducting visual inspections of all well sites and work sites of Well Services, Well Integrity and Well Testing.
- Plan and manage Annulus Management (MAASP, MAWOP, NOL, tubular limitations, fluid compositions, etc.).
- Keep a Well Services and Integrity tools and equipment inventory and keep it up to date.
- Kick off and support the creation of PRs and POs.
- Assuring and filing of reports on all daily operations.
- Plan and manage shift handovers.
- Supporting the Manager Well Services and Integrity upon request.
- Keep all measuring devices (gas detectors, pressure gauges, etc.) maintained and calibrated and organise the purchase of new units.
- Manage and keep all Well Services vehicles in a safe and clean state (attend to all required inspection cycles).
- Give input to optimise day to day tasks and operational procedures.
- Closely collaborate with the Wells, Production, Instrumentation and Maintenance Teams.
- Support younger or new colleagues to develop their career in Well Services.
- Attend the daily assurance meeting on behalf of Well Services
Formal Education
- Minimum education - National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- IWCF or IADC Certification Level 4
- Successful completion of Well Services and Integrity Supervisor competency assessment and panel presentation
Working Experience
- Understanding the full well architecture
- A valid national driver’s license
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- 8 Years relevant experience
