Purpose of Job
To lead the commissioning and start-up team effort and operations to ensure production volumes by applying expert technical knowledge and ensure maximum equipment availability through managing personnel, systems and processes
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for operation of Wells, Flowlines and In-field Compressors;
- Manage tools of trading: Vehicles, Reading Tablets, mobile Air Compressors, Radios, Portable gas detectors and others;
- Lead wells operations team and day to day wells activities;
- Manage Chemicals and other Consumables, inventory and interface with Materials Management;
- Develop and Review First Line Maintenance task lists for Wells Operations;
- Develop Task list for routine Inspection and First Line Maintenance;
- Develop and Review Wells Checklists, Process Reading and Inspection sheets;
- Prepare Maintenance Long outstanding report and report Wells uptime;
- Manage, issue Permit-To-Work and Exemptions;
- Lead and Follow Up on Management of Change;
- Capture and Maintain Wells Health, Safety and Environment data and report back to wells;
- Lead, manage Works managements processes;
- Interface with Maintenance on planned activities, including General Shutdown;
- Participate on Wells Maintenance Strategy review;
- Be responsible for validating content of Wells Operations training modules;
- Manage and lead a commissioning production team taking overall responsibility for managing performance and team training and development; Coordinate all maintenance and Wells commissioning activities; Commissioning status feedback reporting to management;
- Ensure Wells operating specifications and product quality requirements;
- Assist and reinforce operational team regarding inspection of the Wells and associated equipment;
- Ensure Equipment safe-making and handover to maintenance;
- Execute Plant Distributed Control System (DCS) Functions;
- Perform Wells Emergency Shutdown (ESD) Controls functions tests;
- Actively participate in Maintenance planning and scheduling;
- Prepare Audit Evidence Packs;
- Touch & Tagging and Issue Permit to Work;
- Interface with Maintenance and Wells Services and attend and give inputs on the Planning meetings;
- Provides adequate feedback to Area Manager Production on work progress;
- Participates in root cause analyses, and provides feedback to RCA teams;
- Participates in risk assessments according to legislation and company requirements to improve safety;
- Maintains good housekeeping and adheres to waste disposal procedures;
Understand and know the business, drives and KPIs; - Contribute to the development of training modules;
- Identifies personal training and development needs and incorporates into Individual Development Plan with group leader's approval;
- Conduct on the job coaching of commissioning and production team and learners;
- Conducts routine inspections to maintain and improve installation sustainability;
- Attends and interacts in Deviations Analysis and Root Cause Analysis to improve installation safety and stability;
- Play an appropriate main role during emergency situations to get the Well back online;
- Give and receive feedback to other disciplines (partners on daily issues);
- Stakeholder relationship management;
- Gives input at “toolbox talks” to improve plant and Wells safety;
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in own work area;
- Improve practices and/or equipment.
