Purpose of Job

  • Responsible for functional development of Work Management Practitioners;
  • Guides & directs the work management team to identify improvement opportunities via analysis and practical observations, leading to development and implementation of practical solutions and process improvement;
  • Reporting as per business requirements to understand the gaps in the process that needs to be improved in the different areas;
  • Ensure the building of strong relationships with customers in order to actively coach the process and address issues rising from the different areas;
  • Productivity coaching, reporting and barrier identification will form part of the Senior improvement of work management practitioner’s role, since productivity is directly influenced by the work management process;
  • Drive work management and productivity improvement projects and initiatives from idea generation to completion;
  • Provide work management training to work management practitioners and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Establish work management Standards for the business unit;
  • Maintain and optimize the work management implementation plan for business unit;
  • Execute governance to sustain Work Management process and standards within business unit;
  • Develop relevant training material for work management process;
  • Ensure annual refreshment training on Work management process for relevant business partners as well as bi-annual competency assessments;
  • Assist Work Management Practitioner and Business unit to draw up GAP closure plans from gaps and focus areas as identified in Assessments;
  • Active involvement in contributing to SAP optimisation;
  • Do development work on BI and from SAP queries to create visibility for business as requested;
  • Perform Work Management Measuring and Monitoring;
  • Assist the business unit to analyse key performance indicator trends and developing solutions for negative trends and behaviours;
  • Support standardization between the different geographical areas;
  • Play a leading role in Work Management projects from idea generation to full implementation;
  • Must be able and willing to travel periodically to the different geographical areas and utilise technology to enable remote working.

Formal Education

High School / School Diploma or similar

Working Experience

Experience: 4+ relevant years
