Purpose of Job
Reporting to the Team Lead Design Services; Management of Change (MOC) Coordinator I&E supporting Design Services and Document Control providing design support as it pertains to end of job (EOJ) documentation and MOC closeout.
Key Accountabilities
- • Coordinate the I&E Engineering Documentation for MOC closure at the LCCC. • Manage compliance updates for Management of Change for EOJ documentation and control documents. • Responsible for creating and modifying drawings using AutoCAD and/or SmartPlant. • Perform drafting functions such as drawing files back-up, revision control, and storage. • Modify, update, and reconcile I&E drawings, spec sheets, loop sheets, etc. as it pertains to PSM regulated EOJ documentation. • Controlled drawing and database updates for Loop Sheets/Wiring Diagrams to include categorization. • Controlled drawing and database updates for Instrument Spec/Data Sheets. • Controlled drawing updates for instrument tracking database. • Controlled drawing updates for electrical one-lines, motor diagrams, etc. • Controlled drawing updates for Area Classifications • Perform checking of updates performed by other designers working I&E MOC closure. • Daily collaboration with the Document Control Group to update DMS and close MOCs.
Formal Education
Working Experience
- 10+ years' experience working in PSM regulated petrochemical or refining industries with knowledge of AutoCAD and Smart P&ID
Required Personal/Professional Skills
- Experience in I&E Design with an understanding of good engineering practices.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Smart Instrument (SPI) database design tools.
- Knowledge and understanding of PSM regulated Management of Change.
- Understanding of discipline specific design practices and symbology for P&ID’s, Plot Plans, Line Lists, instrumentation, electrical one lines, motor diagrams, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication including the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams for discussion, email, and reporting.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of personnel and stakeholders at different levels of engineering, design, maintenance, operations, and management as well as corporate or global stakeholders and outside EPC contractors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
