Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor unit and make necessary adjustments to continuously make product per Unit Specifications
  • Conduct work activities in compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental, quality and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain current training and qualifications for multiple areas within the unit
  • Take prompt and appropriate action to prevent, correct and/or inform supervision of situations that could result in an incident or non-compliance
  • Responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operations in all operating areas
  • Responsible for analyzing samples in the laboratory using established laboratory practices
  • Gather and record data points and adjust as appropriate to maintain optimum unit efficiencies
  • Responsible for housekeeping in work area
  • Performs troubleshooting and minor maintenance of equipment and notifies maintenance department when necessary
  • Ability to work flexible work hours, including overtime, call outs and shift as needed
  • Rotate job assignments as well as perform other tasks as requested by supervision or operations staff
  • Perform other tasks as requested by supervision or operations staff

Formal Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent qualification
  • Associate Degree and or Bachelor’s Degree in Process Technology, Instrumentation, Electrical, or other technical degree

Working Experience

  • 3+ years relevant experience required if no degree

Required Personal/ Professional Skills

  • Good computer skills: Typing, Microsoft Suite, SAP and DMS knowledge
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Demonstrate high personal motivation and ability to work independently and as a team
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, independently or through a team process
  • Demonstrate flexibility with job responsibilities and willingness to learn new tasks, take on challenges and seek information from others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with peers and production personnel
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions
