Purpose of Job
- Coordinate PdM Technician findings with Operations, Maintenance, Technologies, and Engineering to ensure that critical and high priority assets are designed, operated, installed, and maintained in a way that meets or exceeds all applicable codes and standards to ensure maximum reliability, equipment availability, and minimal life cycle cost.
- Focused on working with internal and external peers to deliver a results-oriented Reliability Centered Culture utilizing their knowledge of Precision Maintenance and Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) / Predictive Maintenance (PdM) technologies.
Key Accountabilities
Drive the efficient and effective delivery of Mechanical Reliability Services by:
- Proactively monitoring critical and high priority assets to ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability.
- Personally leading equipment troubleshooting efforts on critical and high priority assets to determine if the system is functioning as designed.
- Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on precision maintenance and condition monitoring techniques.
- Maximizing reliability while minimizing the life cycle costs for mechanical assets to include PM/PdM strategies, and defect elimination.
- Performing and assisting with reliability workflows such as FMEA's, RCFA, equipment strategies, etc…
- Using your base knowledge in Mechanical Maintenance as well as your advanced technical training in CBM / PdM Technologies to analyze equipment parameters and provide recommendations:

- that prevent equipment functional failures and resolve system issues.
- to ensure that precision maintenance strategies are understood and followed.
- that ensures that repairs and installations follow or exceed RAGAGEP and applicable codes or standards.
Formal Education/Working Experience
- High School Diploma with 12+ years' experience in Maintenance or
- Trade School Certification or Associates Degree with 7+ years in Maintenance
Required Certifications
- Holds or has held Certifications in PdM Technologies and/or Reliability – (2) Required
- Vibration Analysis (Category / Level 2 or Higher)
- Infrared Thermography (Category / Level 1 or Higher)
- Lubrication (CLA1 or CLT2)
- Motor Current Analysis & Motor Circuit Evaluation
- Reliability (CMRP, ARP, or CRL)
Required Personal/Professional Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with precision maintenance techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency with troubleshooting rotating equipment systems.
- Sound knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Data driven decision making, cultural sensitivity, business acumen, professional demeanor, and unquestionable integrity.
- Demonstrated soft skill expertise as it relates to presentations, public speaking, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building.
- Self-starter
