Purpose of Job
To prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc sales reports to facilitate managing the sales team and reporting to management.To prepare for, and represent the sales team in, cross functional to ensure product availability to meet customer commitments. To provide administrative/secretarial services to the relevant team thereby also assuming responsibility for general departmental operations.To play a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of the team.To provide high level support services that impact the effectiveness of the managers and functional area.
Key Accountabilities
Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports by extracting data from corporate systems and consolidating the data into the report.
Prepare for and attend meetings to represent the Sales Team:
- Market, logistics and production meeting
- LCCT ops check in meeting
- Road dispatch meeting on behalf of the sales team
- CES Sales volume meeting on behalf of sales managers
- Coastal nominations on behalf of sales team
- Commercial validation
Analyse data and provide insight into customer and sales team performance
Facilitate the accuracy of customer master data in SAP and CRM
Coach and train team members on the proper way to utilise the systems. Address misuse and misinterpretation of data and alert management.
Perform ad-hoc activities and market analysis services as requested by sales management.
Manage day to day operational and administrative duties to provide support to the team.
Arrange meetings, prepare agendas and keep complete and accurate minutes.
Manage the departmental travel and accommodation (local and abroad).
Build and maintain positive relationships with the team members, managers, and external stakeholders to analyse the BU industry and propose strategy developments.
Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
Formal Education
University Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
