Purpose of Job

Develop and manage the Stakeholder engagement plan to include stakeholder mapping,influences, reporting on stakeholder issues and conduct research on critical stakeholder issues to support the business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and execute meetings on behalf of internal business stakeholders
  • Follow-up and report on the outcomes of stakeholder engagements with respective business owners in the Energy business
  • Ensure quarterly reporting on stakeholder activities submitted to Stakeholder Manager on a regular basis as agreed highlighting key and important issues to be highlighted to the business
  • Design and initiate internal and external communication solutions to the Energy Business stakeholders.
  • Develop messaging and content for business and projects in line with identified audiences and available resources.
  • Provide crisis communication support to protect Sasol’s reputation in the region.
  • Test the appropriateness of existing channels for solutions and develop alternate ones where alignment with targeted audiences and resources is required.
  • Support the Energy Business stakeholders with the production of a range of internal and external publications, photography, and videography.
  • Design, plan, and execute events, sponsorships and exhibitions in line with the Energy business plan and deliverables.
  • Support the Energy business to promote the Sasol brand through available communication platforms and mediums.
  • Reputation Management – identify opportunities to enhance, promote and/or protect the Sasol brand through available platforms and mediums.
  • Support the full use of scope of service and delivery within the budget and coordinate with all functions and business units to ensure alignment.
  • Incorporate expert knowledge, benchmarking, feedback, and advice to improve project delivery and enhance business performance.
  • Liaison with all offices, service, and support functions.

Formal Education

  • Relevant University Degree
