Purpose of Job

The role is accountable for the safe operation of heavy-duty vehicles to deliver Sasol lubricants to customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the on time and accurate execution of all Lubricants Deliveries
  • Ensure reliable (in time and full) deliveries with own fleet
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and report defects
  • Execute deliveries according to delivery sequence
  • Complete delivery documents accurately
  • Minimise unproductive time
  • Identify potential operational risks including OHS ACT requirement and report to line manager.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported, logged and participate in the RCA
  • Comply with site, operational, and SHERQ procedures
  • Adhere to policies and procedures so that task is done safely and accurately.

Formal Education

  • Grade12
  • CODE EC (Code 14) driver’s licence
  • In possession of a valid professional driver permit (PrDP)

Min Experience

  • At least 2 years driving experience
