Purpose of Job
This role is to support with the implementation of people processes, improving HR processes, practices, and systems to achieve enhanced effectiveness and efficiency within the HR Governance environment and associated variable pay processes within Sasol Mining.
Key Accountabilities
Participate in the implementation of HR administrative solutions within agreed work plans and timelines.
Assist with activities relating to the variable bonus solutions, including controls, the assurance of
data availability, preparation of ad-hoc reports, and provision of technical support (Illima Bonus & Recognition system).
Deliver on time resolution of queries and requests.
Audit and analyse payroll allowances and conduct data health checks, investigate issues, and take corrective actions.
Plan and implement record keeping processes for audit data.
Act as gatekeeper of governance for all HR remuneration policies, procedures, processes,and statutory legislation, to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Assist and provide information to internal and external auditors with regular audits of allowances.
Prepare ad-hoc/scheduled reports.
Support with the coordination and preparation of documentation with regards to Temporary Employment Secondees (TES) and Organizational Structure Changes.
Liaise with and consult HR and business units concerning governance and legislative issues.
Regularly review work to align team activities with Sasol Group policies, conditions of service, wage negotiations, and legislative and statutory requirements.
Raise awareness about payroll policies and processes.
Build and maintain positive relationships with employees, HR teams, and line managers to enhance service delivery of the HR function.
Continuously improve own skills and knowledge. Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
Formal Education
Relevant diploma (HR, Finance, Auditing)
