Purpose of Job
- To liaise with project stakeholders and service providers to align delivery of effective and efficient, governance compliant Engineering Information.
- Provide, high quality, on demand reports related to Engineering Information Enablement.
- Allocation of new/existing equipment numbers
- Create and maintain Plant Breakdown Structure for new plants or plant extensions.
- Create and maintain Function Locations.
- Register and maintain new equipment as per engineering drawings.
- Audit equipment registrations as per As-Built Mechanical Flow Diagrams.
- Create and maintain Bill of Material in SAP.
- Create and maintain Main Work Centers in SAP.
- Create customers.
- Manage assets SD system.
- Execute special reports on PM Master Data.
- UAT’s on new Projects
Key Accountabilities
Business Results
- Verification of engineering information received from different stakeholders.
- Locate relevant information in engineering information platform.
- Migrate Engineering Information to Engineering platform.
- Extracting of engineering information from engineering information platform for conversion and other initiatives.
- Population of specific engineering information in relevant engineering platform.
- Create and Maintain Plant Maintenance Master Data.
- Control of project documentation.
Governance and Assurance
- Ensure that different stakeholders understand REE engineering information requirements and work processes
- Apply Governance rules within engineering platform
Leadership
- Informal coaching of Master Data Scheduler Plant Maint and stake holders
SHE Performance
- Identify risks in own work space.
- Execute SHE strategy to achieve zero harm.
Continuous Improvement
- Influence optimizing of working processes.
- Influence REE Information requirements.
- Knowledge Management.
- Proficiency in and understanding of engineering information, standards and work processes.
- Adequate understanding of MOC process.
- Appropriate Computer literacy levels.
Formal Education
- Matric/ Grade 12
- 3 years relevant experience in engineering information management.
- Knowledge of engineering information standards as per REE work instructions.
- Proficient in at least 1 engineering platform used in REE.
- Basic knowledge of REE processes.
- Computer experience required.
- 2 years relevant experience in the plant maintenance master data environment (wish)
