Purpose of Job

To execute the Warranty Claim program and the Scope of Work (Technical assessments on all underground and surface critical equipment and machinery at internal and external Repair facilities) to ensure optimal life cycle of equipment and mobile machinery.                                

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver quality, cost effective service and support on time • Stay focused on the efforts necessary to achieve quality results. • Co-ordinate a Warranty program to assess equipment and to identify deviations • Capture all warranties on SAP transaction ZPM01U • Identify warranties to be withdrawn by conducting pre-inspections on site • Arrange inspection date with supplier • Monitor quality of work and progress against plans • Daily tracking of changed subs per plant on SAP IW39 • Identify rejected warranties where Scope of Work can save money • Full overhaul scope analysis on Integrated Mobile Asset Machinery • Address problems at suppliers and take advantage of opportunities as they arise • Ensure safe working practices to prevent injury or incidents by following SOP's • Take action to ensure consistent application of policies, processes, and procedures • Compile deviation reports and provide feedback to stakeholders • Feedback on findings during inspections to be captured on SAP • Compile presentations and present to Engineering meetings • Evaluate and compare quotations

Formal Education

Grade 12 / N3 with Mathematics, Science and English/ Business English

Trade NQF L4 - Qualified Electro Mechanic (EM)

Computer Literacy: Microsoft and SAP

Valid Red ticket

Working Experience

Underground operational experience (5 years)

Minimum five (5) years Warranty / Assessment related experience
