Purpose of Job

Ensure that the electrical field of expertise in Civil Engineering Maintenance (specifically lifting stations (525V)) and Building Maintenance scope) are executed according to the specifications and agreed scope of work. Management of Service Providers according to the contract. Provide technical guidance, advice and support for the QA/QC Civil Engineering Maintenance Ensure sound engineering and service delivered safely. Advice and guide Business Partners (e.g. Sasol Energy Operations and Sasol Mining) in areas of technical fields of expertise. Liaise with multiple disciplines on maintenance work coordination and execution Advise on technical field of expertise during shutdown and maintenance work, refurbishment and new constructions. Review and support with technical skills in maintenance project execution. Approve work quality and quantities according to specifications and QCP Deliver and maintain specific standards and specifications for technical discipline: Electrical maintenance Develop and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

The scope typically includes but is not limited to the following:

• COC for buildings and other electrical installations and maintenance,

• COC and maintenance and installation of electrical panels and supply for domestic sewer lifting stations and other civil engineering infrastructure (typically 525V)

• lifting stations (includes civils, mechanical pumps and electrical panels),

Formal Education

• Registered Master Electrician with relevant electrical qualification and minimum of 3yrs experience

• Valid drivers’ license
