Purpose of Job

  • Carrying out of day-to-day activities and transactions across a wide range of finance functions incl. accounts payables, general ledger, fixed asset and cash management
  • Supporting the monthly, half-year and year-end reporting processes 
  • Assisting with the annual external audit and tax returns 

Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

  • Managing the accounts payables process incl. reporting and reconciliations
  • Processing of journals and general ledger entries 
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register incl. capitalization, depreciation, etc.
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts and regular payment runs 
  • Supporting the monthly closing activities (SAP and IFRS) and half-year / year-end reporting incl. the preparation of schedules, reconcilaitions, etc.
  • Assisting with the external audit and preparation of financial statements as well as the preparation of statistical reports
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in tax related matters such as tax computation preparation
  • Supporting the budgeting- and forecasting process 
  • Ad-hoc management reporting as directed by the Finance Manager in support of other business units or functions
  • Active communication and seeking for interaction with counterparts and business partners

Formal Education

Diploma in Accountancy or degree level or equivalent

Working Experience

Proven experience in Accounting and Finance (+8 years) in multinational companies

Required personal and professional skills

  • Sound knowledge of financial accounting and reporting practices and standards (IFRS) and good understanding of tax standards
  • Experienced in ERP- and Financial Reporting system concepts (SAP, OneStream) 
  • Sound business acumen and sound understanding of internal control & corporate governance principal  
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge 
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills, sense of urgency and pro-activeness 
  • Effective communication, cross-function networking skills & committed team-player
  • Good English language skills (verbal and writing)
